Who are we?

We at Bamboo Hugs set out on a mission to change the world. But how? The answer was simple, help the planet and the deforestation environmental problem.

With a love and passion for nature, George grew up loving the woods. An avid camper and hiker from an early age, his love for nature has only grown over the years. The forest gave so much to him, so now it is time to give back to it. With deforestation happening at a record rate due to global shortages, it's time for something to change.

To do that, he took on a simple yet environmentally harmful product, toilet paper. It might seem like a fairly eco-friendly product: very light in texture, easily flushed away, and only used a few times a day. Although this is true, toilet paper is terrible for the environment and is the root cause of 15% of all deforestation in the world.

Our mission is to provide the world with an alternative to regular toilet paper. It's that simple. This small change in the way we do our business will go a long way in helping this planet stay healthy and reduce the environmental impact that regular toilet paper causes.
