THE DAMSELS OF BAMBOO

In 1995, Claudia Night was making music in Los Angeles, while Tracy Hoare
was in San Francisco shooting documentaries to free Tibet. The girls were introduced
(thanks, Erin!) and it was a match made in trouble-making. Five years later, Claudia
handed Tracy some honorary mommy duties, naming her the "goddess" mother of her
daughter, Lydia. Now in their thirties, the ladies have a love of bamboo and a passion
of saving the world, one Hug at a time.

The real ah-ha moment came when Claudia brought home bamboo towels for Lydia, who
fell in love with them instantly and used nothing else. Claudia noticed a difference in Lydia's
sensitive skin. When Claudia got tired of all the beige, she asked Lydia if she wanted to create
           kid-friendly bamboo towels with her.

The official title of Mommy's Little Helper was soon created.  Not only is Lydia the designer of
our Kitty Hug, she also writes songs about the world of BamBoo Hug (soon to be heard on this
website, so sign up for updates).

The missing link of this venture was the extrovert and Claudia's favorite social butterfly, Tracy.
She joined the duo after hearing and researching the master plan known as, BamBoo Hugs.
Together, the rock 'n roller and the activist, make up the yin and yang of BamBoo Hugs.
